It is what it is

"It is what it is."

When you set to work at understanding the inner meaning of this statement, and slowly, gradually comprehend its depth and profundity, to know it as a firsthand experience, and not a bunch of words, you will have the world in the palm of your hand, both as a whole and with all its parts. Repeating it over and over, you will find there are particular cadences and rhythmic ways

of saying it that will generate explosions of information in your mind. It is the recipe for the universal solvent that dissolves the appearances of all things. It yields the universal key that unlocks the doorway beyond all illusion. If you are ever unsure of anything, it will guide you to truth. If you are confused and don't know what this statement means, read it again and it will explain itself to you.

But one must ask: where does this path of the utmost simple take us? To a place where the statement "It is what it is" is superseded by the statement "I am what I am".
